Loose gravel & aggregates make a great value driveway surface

Gravel driveways are a low maintenance and cost-effective alternative to a block paving or tarmac driveways. Gravel can be a great option when a large driveway area needs to be covered for a low cost. It can be enhanced with a blend of materials such as block paving edging, paving slabs, entrance steps, granite set features and entrance rumble strips.

Gravel & Pea Shingle Services

Boleyn offers a wide range of gravel, shingle and pea shingle, as well as all types of aggregates in a variety of sizes, textures and colours. This makes it a popular choice and means you can choose a gravel style to complement your home’s exterior. We recommend a minimum of 6-10mm gravel for pathways and 10-20mm for driveways for best results. The use of driveway grids is also recommended to help keep gravel contained and prevent it from being displaced around the driveway.

Gravel driveways are not affected by harsh weather conditions and, due to the permeable nature, they require no additional drainage solutions to cope with run-off water.
